30' x 30' MODCO® 5 Island Exhibit | Center Tower, Storage Room, Four Counters

Modco 5 is a pre-configured 30 x 30 ft. island booth built around a central tower, with four counters, four shelves and an enclosed storage room with a lockable door. The frames are perforated modular aluminum and pin together without tools; the perforations are covered on the assembled build, so the finished frame reads as a clean edge.

The structure itself measures 269 in. wide by 264 in. deep by 190.5 in. high — roughly 22 x 22 ft. of build inside a 30 x 30 ft. space, which leaves about seven feet of open floor on each side for people to stand in rather than filing past a wall. The tower is the tall element at just under sixteen feet, and it is what makes the booth findable from the far end of the hall.

The storage room is the practical reason to choose this configuration over an open island of the same footprint. Cases, literature, coats and giveaways go behind a locking door on the floor instead of back to the hotel or into a drayage charge, and the four counters give you somewhere to actually talk to people.

Shipping

Freight on this item is quoted by us, not priced in the cart. It moves by LTL freight in a heavy-duty crate, and no shopping cart can rate that honestly — so call or request a quote before you order and we will confirm the delivery address and the freight cost with you in writing. Tell us whether the crate goes to the show's advance warehouse or direct to the hall, and whether the receiving address has a dock or needs a liftgate.

One honest note on the published weight. The manufacturer lists 1,035 lbs for this kit, which is lower than we would expect for thirty-six frames, four counters and four shelves — the 20 ft. MODCO packages publish 1,107 and 1,718 lbs on far fewer parts. We quote the freight off a confirmed weight from our fabrication partner rather than off that catalog line, so the number you are given is the number the carrier bills.

Production time

Confirmed in writing on the quote. This is built to order with graphics printed to the panel sizes listed below, so ask for the date before you commit to a show and plan artwork approval around it.

Check the show rules first

Two rules matter on this one. At 190.5 in. the tower is nearly sixteen feet, and island height limits are set per show — some halls cap lower, and a hanging sign above it counts separately. And an enclosed, lockable storage room is often subject to its own regulation on ceilings and fire rating. Both are in the exhibitor kit. If the configuration has to change to conform, email sales@dgcreativ.com and we will quote a custom configuration rather than ship you something the hall will not let you build.

The same kit says who may assemble it. In a union exhibit hall an island of this size is put up by the hall's own labor, which is a separate line in the show budget and is not in this price.

Questions

Can it run in a smaller space? Yes, and on a mixed show calendar that is the main argument for buying it. MODCO is a modular grid, so a portion of these frames and graphics builds a 20 x 20 island, a 10 x 20 inline, or a 10 x 10 wall for a regional show. Tell us the show sizes you actually exhibit at and we will say which sub-configurations this kit covers.

Can I reprint single panels? Yes. The aluminum frames are the durable part and individual SEG panels can be reprinted to the sizes listed above. Refreshing one elevation rather than the whole booth is the normal way to update it.

I already have graphics from another exhibit. Will they fit these frames? No. An SEG panel is cut to one system's bead gauge, channel depth and panel dimension, and none of that is standardized between manufacturers. What to measure before you buy a frame for a graphic you already own.

Where does it live between shows? With us, if you want. A 30 x 30 island is not something you put in a spare office, and the alternative is paying to send it somewhere between every date. We hold exhibits for customers and quote it monthly on the floor space your crate actually occupies, plus anything you want done while it is here — cleaning, inspection after a rough show, or a reprinted graphic ready for the next date. There is no flat rate because a 20 ft. inline and an island this size do not take the same floor. Tell us what you own and we will price it.

What is not in the price? Freight, drayage and material handling at the hall, show labor where the venue requires it, hanging signs and rigging, lighting beyond what is specified, AV, flooring and furniture. Ask us for the full itemized bill of materials and we will get it from our fabrication partner.

What artwork do you need? Print-ready files at the panel sizes above. Send your logo and brand assets if you do not have artwork at size and we will build the files and proof them.
