Sign Company in Cleveland, Ohio | Wall Graphics, Floor Graphics & Installation
DG Creativ designs, produces and installs signs, wall graphics, window film, floor graphics, banners and vehicle graphics for customers in Cleveland and across Cuyahoga County. We are based in Stow, and the Cleveland work shown below runs from downtown out through Shaker Heights and Beachwood.
In Cleveland, the surface usually belongs to somebody else
A museum floor. A landlord's brick. A city's pool deck. Most of the graphics work in and around this city happens on a surface the customer does not own outright, or does not want marked.
That changes which question matters. The artwork is settled early and it is rarely the problem. The problem is the condition attached to the surface: how long the graphic has to stay up, how it has to come off, and what the building owner will accept being done to their floor, their masonry or their glass. Get that wrong and the graphic is fine and the job is not.
High tack and clean removal pull against each other. Which one wins is a decision, not a default, and it has to be made before anything is printed rather than on the morning of the install. So we ask how long it needs to live and what happens to it afterward, we name the substrate and the finish in writing on the proof, and we install it ourselves. There is no hand-off in the middle for responsibility to get lost in.
Work we have done in Cleveland
Ohio Lottery 50th anniversary — Rock & Roll Hall of Fame, downtown Cleveland
The Ohio Lottery marked fifty years with an event at the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame. We produced and installed the event graphics: large-format floor graphics for a shuffleboard game area, die-cut stickers with metallic finishes for giveaways, custom printed lanyards, and graphics applied to a guitar and a framed gold album as a centerpiece display.
Two constraints decided how that job was specified.
- The install window was a few hours, and the removal was the same evening. A Saturday event, floor graphics down before guests arrived and lifted again the same night. There is no version of that where the material is chosen for the photograph and sorted out later.
- The venue's permanent floors are the client the graphic really answers to. The Lottery wanted a metallic finish; the Rock Hall needs its floors back. The floor graphics went down in a specialty film from 3M that carried the metallic sheen, held up under event foot traffic, and lifted without residue. That third property is the reason it was the right material, not the first two.

Van Aken District, Shaker Heights
Two 52-inch graphics printed on textured-surface brick film and installed on the entrance wall.
A children's hospital opening a location in a busy retail district needed the walk in to feel less frightening to a child. The work came out as two 52-inch googly eyes on a brick entrance wall, dozens of smaller sets placed through the district as a scavenger hunt, and 3,750 printed cup sleeves made to be drawn on — three different production problems on one delivery schedule.
The brick is the part worth knowing about. Standard wall vinyl does not hold on masonry: brick, concrete and stucco are porous, irregular and low-energy, and an ordinary adhesive lifts at the edges within weeks. This went on in a textured-surface film with an adhesive built for that, worked into the mortar lines during installation so the graphic follows the wall instead of bridging across it. And because the building belongs to somebody else, clean removal at the end of the campaign was a condition of the job rather than a nice-to-have.

Beachwood Family Aquatic Center

Cut vinyl on the outer shell of a public waterslide. The shell is curved in two directions at once, which is why the message goes on as letters rather than as one panel.
A sunscreen safety message on the outer shell of a municipal waterslide — permanently wet, chlorinated, hot in full sun, curved in two directions and pressure-washed by maintenance. Cast marine-grade vinyl with a UV-stable laminate, cut into letters so each element conforms to the compound curve and no rectangular edge is left for water to get under. It comes off gelcoat with heat and patience when the facility wants it gone.

Three things to settle before a Cleveland job is quoted
- Who owns the surface, and what has to happen to it afterward. A six-week activation on a leased storefront and a three-year installation on a wall you own are different specifications and different prices. If the graphic has to come off without a trace, that decides the material.
- The access window, not the date. Downtown venues, occupied offices and live event schedules rarely give you a day; they give you a few hours between other things. Tell us the window and the route in, and the install gets sequenced to fit it.
- What the substrate actually is. Brick, sealed concrete, terrazzo, gelcoat, painted block, glass and powder-coated metal all take different materials, and a quote given without knowing which one is a guess. Send a photograph of the surface if nothing else.
How a Cleveland job runs
- Measure. We come and measure the actual wall, window, floor, fence or vehicle. On-site measurement across Northeast Ohio is free.
- Proof. You approve artwork at size, with the substrate and finish named on the proof.
- Schedule around the building. Event date, clinic hours, class schedule, shift pattern, retail hours — tell us how the space is used and the install is planned around it.
- Install. Done by us, not handed to you in a tube.
Common questions
Do you have a shop in Cleveland I can walk into?
No walk-in showroom. DG Creativ is based in Stow and the work happens on site — we come to you, measure, and install. Quotes and proofs run by phone and email.
Can floor graphics go down in a venue and come off the same night?
Yes, and that is exactly what the Rock Hall event above required. It depends entirely on the film: an event-grade floor material laid on a clean, sealed floor lifts without residue, and a general-purpose vinyl on the same floor is how venues end up with adhesive to scrub.
Can printed graphics go directly onto a brick wall?
Yes, with a textured-surface film made for low-energy substrates. Standard wall vinyl will not hold on masonry, and it has to be worked into the mortar lines as it goes on.
Can you install graphics printed by someone else?
Yes. Installation and project management is offered on its own, including on graphics printed by another supplier. It is worth sending the specification before it is printed, because most install problems are material choices made earlier.
Do you work for venues, museums, schools and municipalities?
Yes. The Rock Hall event, the Van Aken District and the Beachwood aquatic center above are all Cuyahoga County work, and we work with health systems, universities, school districts and cities across Cuyahoga, Summit, Portage, Medina and Stark counties.
