A 10-foot accordion backdrop with a gentle inward curve and wrap-around endcaps. The curve gives the back wall 31 in. of depth instead of sitting flat, which closes the booth in slightly at both ends and puts whoever is standing in front of it inside the frame rather than against it. The endcap panels, 11.81 in. on each side, fold the graphic back over the sides so the aluminum and the scissor mechanism do not show from down the aisle.

Finished size is 116.5 in. wide by 89 in. high by 31 in. deep. The graphic arrives attached to the frame on hook-and-loop strips and stays attached when the frame folds, so setup is pulling the frame open and locking the clips — about two minutes, one person, no tools.

Single- or double-sided printing. Single-sided covers the front face and both endcaps; double-sided adds the rear face for an island or a pass-through position.

Curved or straight

The straight version is the same price, the same weight and the same two-minute setup, and it is 116.75 x 90 in. flat. The difference is 31 in. of depth against a flat wall. Pick the curve when the backdrop is the booth and you want it to feel enclosed; pick straight when the back wall sits against drape and the floor space in front of it matters more. The curve also costs you a little usable graphic width at the far edges, because artwork near the ends is seen at a sharper angle.

One thing to do before you fold it down

Undo the hook-and-loop straps and unlock the clips on the back of the frame before collapsing it. Folding a locked frame is how these get bent, and it is the one mistake worth warning a new crew about.

Do I take the graphic off to pack it?
No. It stays on the frame on the hook-and-loop strips. Undo the straps, unlock the clips, fold the frame with the graphic attached, and open it again at the next show.

What do the endcaps do?
They are fabric extensions that fold back over the sides of the frame, hiding the scissor mechanism so the display reads as a solid wall from an angle instead of an exposed metal edge.

I already have a graphic from another pop-up. Will it fit this frame?
Usually not. The graphic is cut to this frame's 145 in. template and curve, and its hook-and-loop strips are placed to match this mechanism, so a panel built for a straight frame or for another manufacturer's system will not tension correctly. Can I replace the graphic later?
Yes. Peel the old graphic off the hook-and-loop strips and press the new one on. The aluminum frame is the part you keep; send updated artwork whenever the message changes.
