Custom Street Pole Banners | Sizes, Brackets and Installation
Street pole banners look simple until you order the wrong size. The brackets already on your poles determine the banner, not the other way round — so the first question is always what is up there now.
DG Creativ prints and installs street pole banner programs for cities, downtown districts, business associations, campuses and hospitals across Northeast Ohio. We measure the brackets, print the graphics and put them up. Stock sizes you can buy below; anything else we quote.
What determines the size
Three measurements decide everything, and all three are on the pole already:
- Bracket spacing — the distance between the top and bottom arm. This sets banner height.
- Arm length — sets banner width.
- Pole pocket diameter — the fiberglass rod that slides through the sewn pocket is usually 3/4" or 1", and the pocket has to match.
If you do not know yours, send a photo of one pole with a tape measure in frame and we will tell you. That is free and it takes us a minute.
Materials we use, and why
18oz double-sided scrim vinyl for the banner, with a blockout layer so the back image does not ghost through the front. Hems are double-stitched and the pole pockets are sewn, not welded.
Wind slits are standard on our outdoor street pole work. A banner on a pole at an intersection takes more wind load than almost anything else we make, and a banner without relief tears at the grommet first.
Cast aluminum brackets with fiberglass rods for the hardware. Steel rusts and powder-coated steel rusts where it is drilled.

Custom sizes and full programs
If your bracket spacing is not standard — and on older downtown poles it usually is not — we make the banner to fit what is there rather than asking you to replace the hardware.
Custom sizes are priced per banner against the measurements and the quantity, so there is no cart price for them. Send the pole count and a photo and you will have real numbers back within one business day.
We also run whole programs: four seasonal sets a year on the same brackets, stored between rotations and swapped on a schedule, so nobody on your staff is up a ladder in February.
Installation
We install, and for street pole work that matters more than usual. Poles sit over sidewalks and traffic lanes, so the job involves lift equipment, lane closures on some streets, and coordination with whoever owns the pole — often the city or the utility, not the business whose banner it is.
If you would rather hang them yourself, the hardware and graphics above are built for that; the rods slide through the pockets and the clamps tighten with a single wrench.
