Pop-Up Horizontal Banners

A pop-up sideline banner is a spring-steel hoop sewn into a printed fabric skin. It twists flat into a disc to go in the bag and springs back into shape when you take it out. That is the whole appeal: nothing to assemble, nothing to lose, and a frame that shrugs off a ball or a runner clipping it instead of going over.

The horizontal shape sits low and wide — soccer and lacrosse touchlines, golf tee boxes, race finish areas, the edge of a course or a course marshal's post.

Setup

Out of the bag it opens itself. Folding it back down is a twist rather than a fold: bring the frame in on itself until it makes a flat circle, then slide it into the bag. Worth practicing once in the driveway before the first event rather than on the sideline.
