Medium Falcon®/Sunbird Flag - Spike Base (Stand Only)

A four-section aluminum pole set with a steel spike base and a carry bag, sold without a graphic. This is the medium stand — the one under a 10.5 ft. Falcon or a 9 ft. Sunbird. At that height the flag clears parked cars and standing crowds, which is also why the base matters more than it does on a short flag: there is more sail above it.

The spike base takes that load into the ground rather than resisting it on the surface, and its swivel head lets the flag rotate downwind instead of being pushed sideways. In firm grass it is the more secure of the two bases by a wide margin.

Both use a 16.0 mm base fitting. The small, large and extra-large flags take different pole sets and are listed separately.

The pole sections are numbered by the manufacturer across the whole flag range, not per kit, so the medium set runs #1, #1b, #2 and #4. A missing #3 is not a missing part — that section belongs to the larger sizes.

Spike base or X base

If the flag lives on grass, this is the right stand. If it alternates between a field and a parking lot, order this one and add an X base on its own — cheaper than a second pole set and it swaps in a few seconds.

Does this include a flag?
No. Poles, base and bag only. A graphic you already own will fit this pole set.

Will my 9 ft. Sunbird graphic fit the 10.5 ft. Falcon poles?
No — the graphics are cut to their own shape and height. This stand fits either flag, but each flag needs its own graphic.

One pole section is bent. Can I buy just that?
Ask us. Individual sections are not listed on the site but can usually be sourced; email sales@dgcreativ.com with the flag size and the pole number.

Will it hold in wind?
Rated to 18–23 mph. Above that, take it down. At 10.5 ft. the graphic is the first thing to fail.
